On the 26th of February the winners of a prestigious international beauty contest ‘Miss Universe 2015’ became known. A Ukrainian Diana Garkusha and a Russian Yulia Alipova found themselves among the top of the leaders. The 25-year-old Yulia Alipova won in the ‘Miss Russia 2014’ beauty contest. The beautiful girl is from Balakovo, Saratov region, but not long ago Yulia has moved to Moscow together with her family. Alipova has two higher educations – an English translator and electrical power systems engineer.

Diana Garkusha is 20. She works as a model. She has been a winner of many beauty contests in Ukraine which probably helped her win the title of ‘the second vice Miss Universe 2014.’ Really, a Ukrainian girl is the third beauty of the world!
One should note that girls from Ukraine have found themselves in the first five of super finalists three times. In 2010 Anna Poslavskaya from Kherson became the third vice miss. In 2011 a girl from Odessa Olesya Stefanko won the title of the first vice miss. And now a girl from Kharkov Diana Garkusha took the third place. However, there are winners of the contest among Russian beauties.
Oksana Fedorova become the first Slavic woman who put on the crown of Miss Universe in 2002.

 

As Russian press writes, before girls from Ukraine and Russian Federation were housed together, but now three weeks before the contest they weren’t even been shot together in one photo session. They were ignoring each other. At the same time, they didn’t say any petulance. War is war… One should only hope that soon Russian and Ukrainian girls will win the ‘Miss Universe’ title, which won a 22-year-old Paulina Vega from Kolumbia this year. She also got money reward for the victory in the contest – 300 thousand of dollars.
